PMC works with many of the environmental education centers in Philadelphia to provide free and accessible mushroom guidance in an urban setting. The group hosts group hikes, workshops, and trash clean ups year round. Bethany also volunteers for Fungal Diversity Survey, a national non-profit dedicated to documenting and conserving the diverse macrofungi of North America.
