Wetlands act as “nature’s kidneys” by removing polluting nutrients and sediments from surface and groundwater. By protecting water quality, wetlands keep our lakes, streams, and groundwater healthy and are important to the integrity of aquatic ecosystems.

Help restore one of Darby Creek wetlands.

Saturday, March 23,2019 (Cancelled if rain.) 9:30am-12:30pm Cut vines	Saturday, April 27,2019 (rain or shine)! 9:30-am-12:30pm Plant small native shrubs!

Saturday, May 25,2019 (rain or shine) 9:30-am-12:30pm Plant native flowers for pollinators.	Saturday, June 22,2019 (rain or shine) 9:30-am-12:30pm Plant native flowers for pollinators.

Bring: loppers. hand-pruners, rakes,saws, shovels. ( some equipment will be there)

Wear: boots, sturdy shoes, gloves, long sleeves, long pants,hats.

There is poison ivy

Under 18 yrs must be accompanied by adult!
