DCVA has partnered with Audubon on a project to restore Whitby Meadow, located in Philadelphia's Cobbs Creek Park, to improve conditions for birds, pollinators, and other wildlife in this important green space on the edges of both Philadelphia and Yeadon. The aim of the project is to restore native plants that provide food and habitat, improve plantings along the creek to reduce erosion and restore creek health, and reduce plastic pollution and trash. We know that with these efforts Whitby Meadow can become an oasis for wildlife and the surrounding communities - but we need your help! Please join us to plant trees in this important riparian buffer. Bring your own gloves (or we will have gloves on hand for you!), and we will provide tools.
