Whitby Meadow Live Stake Planting & Cleanup with Audubon Mid-Atlantic

Saturday, March 18th, 1:00 - 3:30pm

Join DCVA, Audubon Mid-Atlantic, and Penn State Master Watershed Stewards for a volunteer live staking and cleanup day at Whitby Meadows in Cobbs Creek Park. We will be restoring habitat along Cobbs Creek by planting live stakes to help protect the creek and create habitat for birds and other wildlife, in addition to picking up trash and debris in the area. 

Meet at the intersection of Cobbs Creek Parkway & Whitby Avenue (there is a parking close by at Thomas Ave & Cobbs Creek Pkwy). Gloves and tools will be provided. Long pants and boots are recommended.
