Come learn about the fungi that call the historic Oakwell Estate home in a guided walk with mushroom enthusiast and educator, Bethany Teigen. 

Bethany founded the Philadelphia Mycology Club in 2018 after finding some mushrooms coming up between the Philly cobblestones. Since then, the community of novice and experienced mycologists has grown to thrive in Greater Philadelphia. PMC works with many of the environmental education centers in Philadelphia to provide free and accessible mushroom guidance in an urban setting. 

DCVA events are always free. Donations are appreciated to support our work to preserve and protect our watershed, but are not required.
