DCVA Annual Meeting
Haverford Community Recreation & Environmental Center
Saturday, March 15, 2025
Each year, our Annual Meeting serves as a vital opportunity to connect with the DCVA membership and the broader community. This gathering provides an in-depth look at the progress, challenges, and accomplishments of the past year in and around the Darby Creek watershed.
This year’s theme is Community Science—highlighting the power of local engagement in scientific research and environmental conservation. We’ll showcase how volunteers, students, and residents contribute valuable data and observations that help protect and restore our watershed.
During the meeting, we will share updates on our conservation efforts, educational initiatives, and community science programs. We will also discuss ongoing and future projects aimed at preserving and improving the health of the watershed. Members will have the chance to hear from key speakers, learn about volunteer opportunities, and participate in discussions on how we can collectively enhance our impact.
We encourage all members, partners, and anyone interested in environmental stewardship to join us for this important event.
