Join Us for a Tree Planting Weekend in Ridley Township!
The Darby Creek Valley Association (DCVA), in partnership with Ridley Township and the Delaware County Conservation District, is excited to invite community members to take part in a large-scale tree planting along Stony Creek in Frederick L. Mann Memorial Park this October! Together, we’ll be planting 500 native trees and shrubs to restore streamside habitat, improve water quality, and create lasting benefits for the local environment.

Saturday, October 18th
Morning Session: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Afternoon Session: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Sunday, October 19th
This is a family-friendly event, open to volunteers of all ages and experience levels. No prior planting knowledge is required—our team will provide all the tools, materials, and guidance you’ll need. Just bring sturdy footwear, dress for outdoor work, and be ready to make a difference!
